The Florida Phoenix welcomes reporter Issac Morgan

The Florida Phoenix welcomes Issac Morgan to our growing news operation in the state capital.

A 2009 graduate of FAMU’s School of Journalism, Morgan is a proud native of Tallahassee who has a diverse journalism background.

He has a passion for Florida politics and uplifting underserved communities, and his pursuit of journalism is about engaging the masses.

In 10 years, Morgan has done everything from covering government meetings in Gadsden County outside of the state capital to working as a sports assistant at the Tallahassee Democrat, doing communications for a Florida government agency and writing columns in sports and entertainment.

While he isn’t reporting and writing, Morgan enjoys exploring the many scenic nature trails in Florida.
