In what has been a relatively light fund-raising year, Attorney General Ashley Moody’s political committee reported raising $26,000 in September, state elections records show.
The largest donation to the Friends of Ashley Moody Committee was $15,000 from A. Duda and Sons, a major agriculture and development company. The first-term Republican attorney general also received $5,000 from the Jacksonville Kennel Club.
Moody’s monthly total was the highest for the year, although her committee did not collect any contributions for six of the first nine months of 2019, according to the state Division of Elections.
The Florida Phoenix previously reported on the fund-raising activities for Gov. Ron DeSantis and Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis in this story.
