Despite recount, Mitch McConnell welcomes Rick Scott as new FL U.S. Senator

Recount logoWhile Democrats are focusing on counting all the votes in Florida, Republican Gov. Rick Scott seems to be treating the statewide recount as just a formality. Although he’s in an incredibly close recount against incumbent Democratic U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, he’s posing in this picture tweeted today by U.S. Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell, who offers “A warm welcome to the incoming class of Republican Senators.”
