Adam Putnam hearts resigned EPA head Scott Pruitt

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, who has done one controversial ethical thing after another – and we’re not even talking about his evisceration of our clean air and water laws – FINALLY resigned.  Florida Democrats were quick to remind everyone that Florida Republican gubernatorial candidate Adam Putnam (currently Agriculture Commissioner) has been a big Scott Pruitt supporter. In a 2017 column in the Orlando Sentinel, Putnam said Pruitt has the “experience, understanding of the law and courage to get this out-of-control federal agency back on track.”

In return, grateful polluters have contributed millions to Putnam’s campaign. As Governor of Florida, Putnam would continue his proud tradition of protecting polluters and pollution in our state.
